The WHO Budapest Centre has been in operation since November 2016. Its initial functions related to WHO’s internal justice system, supported by the Administrative Law Unit and the Global Board of Appeal.
Since its opening the Centre has grown to become an outposted office of WHO headquarters and now also hosts services such as those dealing with procurement and supply, talent acquisition and management and cybersecurity, as well as fleet management, the global assurance hub and awards.
