All PHEOCs have capacities and are well linked to effectively support decision making and coordinating response to public health threats and emergencies
Build strong linkage with and further engage WHO EOCs and teams at three levels, PHEOCs in Member States and international/regional partners in EOC-NET initiatives and activities.
In 2012, WHO established the Public Health Emergency Operations Centre Network (EOC-NET) to identify and promote best practices and standards for EOCs and provide support to EOC capacity building in Member States. WHO has been working with EOC-NET partners in developing evidence-based guidance for building, operating and improving public health EOCs.
The EOC-NET Secretariat launched new application forms in June 2020 and updated the membership criteria. Up to January 2021 the Secretariat has received +100 successfully submitted forms.
