By March 2023, The Health for All Film Festival (HAFF) had selected about 250 short films, thanks to the involvement of hundreds of WHO staff reviewing thousands of submissions received since 2020. This shortlist grows every year, covering a wide range of health topics and stories told from all regions worldwide, often with cultural, environmental and/or social angles and contexts. It helps the wider audience to discover more about the global diversity of health challenges and solutions.
The short films awarded by our jury from this selection will be a total of 26 stories, which WHO will promote through its social media channels and events to raise more awareness about global health issues.
Health activists, health professionals, teachers, students, and more people around the world looking for short films to support their health promotion events and educative actions can consult our below catalog of selected stories. Their own choice would become useful resources for their own screening events or other “Films for Health Impact” activities.
