World Health Organization Director-General, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, invites the Geneva community to “Picturing Health” a photo exhibition at Quai Wilson from 3 April to 1 May 2023, in celebration of WHO’s 75th anniversary.
Dr Tedros will officially open the exhibition at 10:00, Thursday 6 April, along with the Mayor of Geneva and other friends of WHO. Media and the public are welcome at this event.
The outdoor exhibition, on the shores of Lake Geneva, contains more than 50 photos carefully selected from WHO’s photography collection of more than 58 000 images. “Picturing health” documents many of the public health successes over the past 75 years, and also highlights current and future health challenges. It contains images by renowned photographers including Robert Doisneau, Paul Almasy and Jean Mohr.
