The WHO policy sets out the principles and requirements regulating the procurement of essential medicines and health by WHO, including a set of clear and transparent criteria on which sources and suppliers are selected and engaged.

Pursuant to WHO QA Policy for Procurement of Essential Medicines and Other Health Products, pre-selected suppliers are invited to participate to ITBs or RFPs.

The information provided in the questionnaire will become the property of World Health Organization. WHO is not obliged to contract the pre-selected suppliers for the performance of any work nor the supply of any products of services. The supplier shall bear all costs incurred in the preparation and submission of the questionnaire and its annexes.
